Stavros aka Stevie R made his first steps in electronic music by performing as a dj in various venues, culminating in his playing in top tier Greek and European clubs; Cavo Paradiso (Mykonos), Arena Maniace (Siracusa), Rhythm Factory (London), Café 1001(London), Mommy (Athens) and Animal (Athens) to name a few. He has also organised several events and labels showcases for various renowned clubs in both Greece and UK, collaborating with the best professionals of the field.

Going under the artist name of Stevie R, Potamitis set up Inside Out Records with Alessandro Lombardo (Alex Zed) after they met in London. Aiming to deliver “quality underground music”, the label strives to support talented new artists and endeavour to unearth some of the best pioneering sounds within deep house and techno. Inspired by experimental electronic music, Steve R recently collaborated with Ian Mckenzie for their Lost Little Girl EP which was released by Inside Out Records this summer. Featuring remixes from the likes of Roland Appel, Aki Bergen and Alex Zed, the Lost Little Girl EP was the label’s second release. Take a listen to it below.
Regarding his taste as a producer, Stevie's style is based on deep house sounds and draws elements from various genres. His principal focus in production is professionalism of the result and artistic depth of each track, giving his style distinct characteristics and a unique flavor. Many of his tracks have met great success worldwide and his music has been selected for “GIRLS” TV series by the large US channel HBO.
Fanciful Stories is far from just another EP. On the contrary, it is a primitive experience and one that lives in the subconscious of its creators. This sensationalism is only complete when Stevie R, Ian Mckenzie, Alex Zed and Al Bradley narrate their own version of the tale.
