The Travelling suitcase Kastoria Greece

Kastoria is a city in Greece and the capital of the prefecture . Located in the western end of Western Macedonia . The city's population stands at 13,387 inhabitants ( 2011) . It is built on a peninsula of the homonymous lake , at an altitude of 703 m from the sea , between the mountains and Vitsis and Grammos. Surrounded by the lake and connected to the mainland through a wider strip of land fills , it gives the impression of an island .
In its long history , a half millennium since it's creation and  two millenniums of Housing, Kastoria has experienced sieges and conquests of Bulgarians , Normans and Turks , while keeping up to date with a significant number of Byzantine churches , mansions and treasures as evidence of occasional acne due to the successful marketing and distribution of fur in important centers of Europe .
