Travel Massive Road Trip Ierapetra
I would say that Lasithi is my favorite prefecture since all gems like Agios Nikolaos, Elounda, Ierapetra are gathered here. Last but not least, was our trip to Ierapetra , Crete.
Christos Manousakis , one of the Crete Chapter leaders and owner of Crete Experience made sure we would enjoy our stay at his region. Oh yes he did and we thank him dearly!!!
It was more of an entertaining and showcasing a unique destination trip, however it did have the right amount of historical facts, our visit to Spinalonga Island (the
leper colony) topping it all.
“As you walk around Spinalonga, stop and hold your breath. From some hovel nearby you will hear the echo of a mother’s or sister’s lament or a man’s sigh. Shed a couple of tears from your eyes and you will see the sparkle of the millions of tears that have drenched this road.” - Epameinondas Remoundakis
Thank you Evi Petsangouraki for the amazing guiding , and for providing the detailed info of the island.
Our Travel Massive Road Trip took place from May 07 till May 14 2016 and we had the opportunity to sightsee, showcase, collaborate and interact with many different travel and tourism sectors throughout the whole island. The municipality of each prefecture helped us as well, without them some excursions would be impossible. We kindly thank them for their generosity.

Ierapetra is cute, picturesque and full of colors. Upon arrival and before we got on our yacht Elena in order to enjoy our cruise and .swimming, lunch and cocktails at Chryssi Island, we had the opportunity to stroll around the neighbourhoods and take some lovely pictures..
Our stay at the magnificent, magical Koutsounari Traditional Cottages only made our trip even more fantastic. Thank you Ioanna Madala once again for your hospitality, everything was classy with a twist. I am coming back asap!!

We went to Chryssi Island known also as Gaidouronisi (Donkey Island) drank amazing cocktails and ate fresh delicious fish, swam in the crystal clear waters and enjoyed the breezy ride with all our heart!
The mayor of Ierapetra Theodosis Kalantzakis also attended our event, and shared thoughts and ideas
with us.
Dinner at Psaropoula, a fish tavern on the beach with delicious food , was a treat from Mr Dimitris Beletsiotis, the owner .Thank you !
Vassilakis Estate with the superior extra virgin oil was another great estate we visited, where we enjoyed a wonderful tour and samples fine olive oil.
Agios Nikolaos bay is my favorite gem in Crete. Our Crete4seasons road trip ended here and I would like to thank Mrs Rebecca Skevaki, Mr Ioannis Bras and Mr Christos Manousakis for showcasing their beautiful island to us.
